This position is for an Assistant General Manager role, a critical leadership position within the restaurant. The role operates on a 50-hour workweek, with 40 hours paid at a regular rate and 10 hours compensated at time and a half, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding dedication and hard work. The Assistant General Manager’s responsibilities include overseeing shift operations, ensuring food safety compliance, managing labor and inventory, and supporting employee recruitment and development. Job Duties

  • Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the MIC Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs
  • oversee team members adherence to shift excellence responsibilities, maintain high food safety standards, and uphold core excellence
  • take charge of restaurant operations in the General Manager's absence
  • collaborate with the General Manager in assessing team performance, providing ongoing constructive and positive feedback
  • address employee relations issues as they arise, determine immediate resolutions, or escalate to the General Manager when necessary
  • assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members while driving a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging
  • assist with profit and loss management including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, and labor management
  • review financial reports and take appropriate actions to optimize performance
  • support the General Manager in facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed
