Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with relevant experience
  • Minimum one year of Assistant General Manager experience or three years of related hospitality experience
  • Proficiency in hotel information systems and computer applications
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in operational management of hotel properties
  • Knowledge of accounting and human resources processes

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with at least one year of Assistant General Manager experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least three years of related experience
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in email communication and spreadsheet/database management
  • Experience with hotel information systems such as Opera and M3
  • Solid operations management experience within select service or extended stay properties
  • Ability to develop and manage staff effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Support the General Manager in maintaining and furthering hotel brand standards to heighten guest satisfaction
  • Execute accounts receivable and payable duties within the first 30 days
  • Familiarize and manage all HR processes including new hire onboarding
  • Develop and implement staff optimization plans to ensure mission alignment and service excellence
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership team and corporate staff to drive operational success
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on floor execution
  • Grow market share and cultivate new business opportunities in competitive environments
