Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with adequate related experience
- Computer proficiency including email and spreadsheet usage
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with hotel information systems
- Commitment to upholding hotel brand standards
- Management skills to lead and develop staff effectively
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- At least one year of assistant general manager experience or three years related hotel experience
- Experience with hotel information systems
- Proficiency in email communication and data analysis
- Operational management experience in select service or extended stay properties preferred
- Knowledge of Opera and M3 systems preferred
Job Duties
- Provide strong operational leadership and support to the General Manager
- Maintain and further hotel brand standards to heighten guest satisfaction
- Execute all accounts receivable and payable duties within the first 30 days
- Manage human resources processes including new hire onboarding
- Develop and implement staff optimization plans to maximize team effectiveness
- Collaborate with hotel general manager, key leaders, corporate staff, and ownership groups
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution on the hotel floor
