Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with adequate related experience
  • Computer proficiency including email and spreadsheet usage
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with hotel information systems
  • Commitment to upholding hotel brand standards
  • Management skills to lead and develop staff effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least one year of assistant general manager experience or three years related hotel experience
  • Experience with hotel information systems
  • Proficiency in email communication and data analysis
  • Operational management experience in select service or extended stay properties preferred
  • Knowledge of Opera and M3 systems preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide strong operational leadership and support to the General Manager
  • Maintain and further hotel brand standards to heighten guest satisfaction
  • Execute all accounts receivable and payable duties within the first 30 days
  • Manage human resources processes including new hire onboarding
  • Develop and implement staff optimization plans to maximize team effectiveness
  • Collaborate with hotel general manager, key leaders, corporate staff, and ownership groups
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution on the hotel floor
