This role is specific to assisting veterans, one of the groups VOAOHIN passionately supports. The Assistant Food Service Worker is an essential part of the team, tasked with assisting in the preparation and serving of nutritious meals tailored to meet the dietary needs of veteran residents. This position carries the responsibility of ensuring that all food service activities adhere to cleanliness and safety standards within both the kitchen and cafeteria areas. The incumbent will perform a variety of food preparation duties excluding cooking but inclusive of serving portion-controlled meals and maintaining proper inventory levels.
