Waldorf Astoria is seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join their dynamic leadership team. This role is integral to maintaining the hotel’s high standards across its food and beverage operations. As an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of Peacock Alley and Hard Shake, two of the hotel’s vibrant dining outlets. Reporting directly to the Senior Food & Beverage Manager, this position involves direct supervision of the Front-of-House Team Members, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and inspiring leader who thrives in a guest-facing environment and leads by example. This person is passionate about hospitality, energetic, positive, and able to foster a culture of excellence, hospitality, accountability, and teamwork.

In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing guest satisfaction by supporting various aspects such as quality control, inventory management, reservations, marketing efforts, and reporting. Your leadership will ensure consistent food presentation standards, cost controls, and portion accuracy to maximize guest value while maintaining profitability. Furthermore, you will assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and developing team members to support a motivated and productive workforce. Adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations is paramount, maintaining the highest levels of guest and team member wellbeing. Job Duties

  • assist in supervising and developing team members by providing training scheduling feedback and recognition
