The role of Assistant Food and Beverage Manager is critical in supporting the Director of Food and Beverage by overseeing the daily operations of various casual dining restaurants. Job Requirements

  • Must be over 21 years of age
  • Must have extensive food and beverage knowledge
  • Must have previous management experience in restaurant or food environment
  • Must have leadership experience with diverse groups
  • Must be able to coach team members

  • Must be able to obtain Nevada Health Card
  • Must be able to obtain Nevada TAM Card
  • Must be able to obtain Nevada Gaming Registration Card
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Must be able to pass drug test

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge in front and back of house operations
  • Five years experience in management within a high volume restaurant operation preferred
  • Previous management experience in a restaurant or food environment
  • Leadership experience with diverse teams
  • Positive and guest-focused attitude
  • Strong coaching and communication skills
  • Administrative competence
  • Ability to obtain Nevada Health, TAM, and Gaming Registration Cards
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous casino setting experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist the Director of Food and Beverage in overseeing daily operations of multiple restaurants
  • Support restaurant managers in implementing operational standards, staff training, and performance evaluations
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to minimize waste and control costs
  • Participate in weekly inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels of food and supplies
  • Help manage food and beverage budgets, analyze financial reports, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Address guest feedback and service issues promptly
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and special events
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Assist in scheduling staff and ensuring coverage during peak times
  • Work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
