The Assistant Facilities Operations Manager role is a pivotal position located at Uline's corporate headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The Assistant Facilities Operations Manager will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of corporate buildings to ensure they remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. The position involves direct leadership and development of several teams, including Dock Services, Mail Services, and Facilities Assistants and Attendants. By collaborating closely with Facilities leadership, the Assistant Manager will contribute to hiring, developing, and retaining a high-performing team that supports the company’s operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, coordinating event setups, and overseeing various facilities projects critical to seamless corporate functions. Regular facility inspections are a significant component of the role, ensuring high standards are maintained and any issues are promptly addressed, thereby supporting Uline's commitment to operational excellence.

This role requires a candidate who is not only experienced in facility operations or management but also possesses strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to travel occasionally to other Uline locations across North America are necessary.
