Located in Towson, Maryland, this establishment is a full-service hotel that caters to a diverse clientele and aims to provide exceptional hospitality services. The hotel emphasizes a professional, friendly environment and is committed to quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous growth within the hospitality industry. The position offered is full-time and management-level, centered on sales and marketing functions within the hotel industry.
The role available is for an Assistant Director of Sales with a focus on business travel. Furthermore, the role demands building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, especially focusing on transient business and business travel. Collaboration with other departments such as catering and convention services, involvement in annual business planning, forecasting, and managing Profit & Loss (P&L) are also crucial components of the job. Participation in networking events, tradeshows, customer entertainment, and community involvement rounds out the responsibilities. The role reports directly to the Director of Sales (DOS) and requires at least 3 years of sales experience in the business travel segment within the hotel industry.
This position offers a salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 annually with bi-weekly pay. Benefits include Cigna healthcare, free parking, and a 401K plan.
