Designed to serve as a landmark destination, Signia by Hilton features 800 elegantly appointed guest rooms and an expansive 100,000 square feet of versatile meeting space. The hotel enjoys a prime connection to the iconic Lucas Oil Stadium, making it an ideal venue for a wide range of events including high-profile weddings, social gatherings, and large-scale corporate meetings. The establishment's strategic location and state-of-the-art facilities position it as a beacon of luxury and convenience in Indianapolis’s bustling city center.
The hotel is currently in its pre-opening phase and is actively seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Catering Sales to join its dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional to influence the hotel's catering operations from day one and contribute significantly to establishing Signia by Hilton as the premier destination for exceptional catering services. As an Assistant Director of Catering Sales, the successful candidate will be instrumental in driving catering revenue growth and ensuring that every event reflects the brand’s commitment to excellence.
This position requires a hands-on leadership approach, where the individual will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, team members, guests, and suppliers to deliver seamless catering experiences. The role also involves strategic planning, including the implementation of innovative catering initiatives and continuous process refinement to maintain high-quality standards. Financial acumen is important, as the Assistant Director will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost management to optimize resource allocation effectively. An integral part of the role is also to champion Hilton’s company culture, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment that prioritizes guest satisfaction and team engagement.
Moreover, the Assistant Director of Catering Sales will serve as a subject matter expert in catering, staying abreast of industry trends and representing Hilton in professional circles to uphold the brand’s reputation. The individual will also be involved in sales support, participating in client site inspections, and aligning catering solutions with Hilton’s established standards. Talent development is a critical aspect of this position, with responsibilities that include mentoring team members, supporting career growth initiatives, and maintaining an open-door policy to ensure a productive and harmonious workplace.
Joining Signia by Hilton Indianapolis means more than just taking up a job; it means becoming part of a visionary team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality experiences. This role is perfect for someone who embodies Hilton's core values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency. With the backing of Hilton’s global reputation and employee-focused culture, the Assistant Director of Catering Sales will find numerous opportunities for professional growth and personal fulfillment.
