This position demands a strong passion for food service, team leadership, and training, as the individual will be responsible for training new hires, managing staff performance, and maintaining regulatory standards.

The Assistant Dining Room Manager will effectively communicate with residents and employees to foster a positive work environment, ensuring the dining room's operations meet efficiency and quality standards in the absence of the Dining Room Manager. Key responsibilities include managing waitstaff assignments, conducting daily huddles, handling catering requests and events, and ensuring staff adherence to service, safety, and sanitation protocols. Additionally, this role involves oversight of time and attendance management, payroll accuracy, and performance feedback documentation.

This role offers a flexible schedule with key shifts on Wednesday and Thursday from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, plus two additional four-hour shifts per week that can be scheduled flexibly to accommodate work-life balance. The position is based onsite, affording the opportunity to engage directly with the dining room team and residents. The compensation for this role ranges from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of the position within our hospitality operations.

Joining our team as an Assistant Dining Room Manager/Lead Trainer means contributing to an active, supportive, and rewarding work environment where your leadership skills, training expertise, and passion for the food industry will directly impact guest satisfaction and team success. If you thrive in fast-paced food service environments and are motivated to lead and develop a team in a meaningful hospitality setting, this role is a perfect fit to grow your career and make a lasting impact in the assisted living dining field.
