This position, Product Sales Specialist Trainer, plays a crucial role within Floor & Decor’s retail operations by focusing on the growth and development of the Product Sales Specialists team. The trainer is responsible for ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and accurate product information, which directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. By training and mentoring specialists, this role promotes consistency in retail standards, adherence to company policies, and a strong understanding of product knowledge and merchandising techniques. The role requires a dynamic individual who is able to teach company philosophies, such as the basic P's of retail—People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, and Purchasing—while simultaneously maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming showroom environment.

The Product Sales Specialist Trainer's responsibilities extend from leading by example in customer engagement to ensuring all team members complete necessary certification courses and comply with safety standards, including forklift operation certification. They will manage inventory communication, oversee merchandising and pricing, and collaborate closely with management to respond to operational needs effectively. This position demands proficiency in multitasking in a fast-paced setting, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work within the company's store hours, including weekends.
