The position of Product Sales Specialist Trainer at Floor & Decor is a critical role designed to enhance the customer shopping experience by training and developing Product Sales Specialists. As a Product Sales Specialist Trainer, you will be responsible for ensuring that product sales staff deliver exceptional customer service and accurate product information. This role requires a strong ability to coach and motivate team members, ensuring they understand and comply with the company’s operating procedures and philosophy, including the fundamental principles of retail such as People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, and Purchasing.

Your main responsibilities include overseeing product specialist certification courses, guiding the merchandising and organization of the department, and maintaining consistent communication regarding standard operating procedures. You will also be proficient in warehouse safety practices and forklift operation, supporting operational efficiency and safety. Interacting with customers to provide product knowledge and assistance is vital, as is managing inventory needs and processing transactions accurately.

The work environment typically involves exposure to a busy warehouse setting with moderate to high noise levels and requires physical activity, including lifting and moving merchandise.
