Job Description
Delaware North Sportservice is seeking an Assistant Concessions Manager to join the team at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan. The company operates concessions, premium dining, and retail services at the 41,297-seat Comerica Park, home of the MLB's Detroit Tigers. Delaware North has been a partner of the Tigers since 1930, offering a unique dining experience at the exclusive Tiger Club with a full view of the field.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- minimum of 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience in the food service industry, preferably with prior concessions experience
- knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health regulations, and safety procedures
- ability to obtain ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications
- proficient computer skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and point of sale systems
- strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- capacity to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business levels
