Job Description

Chobani is a pioneering food company committed to making high-quality and nutritious food accessible to everyone. Founded in 2005 by Hamdi Ulukaya, an immigrant to the United States, Chobani has grown to become America's number one yogurt brand. The company is known for using natural ingredients and producing products free from artificial preservatives. Beyond yogurt, Chobani also manufactures oat milk and creamers and has expanded its portfolio by acquiring brands like La Colombe, a leading coffee roaster, and Daily Harvest, which offers convenient, nutritious ready-to-make meals.

Chobani operates with a strong purpose-driven philosophy centered on people and wellness, striving to use food as a force for good in the world. The company integrates philanthropic efforts into its core mission, supporting communities and fostering a healthier world. With manufacturing facilities across New York, Idaho, Michigan, and Australia, Chobani distributes its products broadly throughout North America, Australia, and other select markets.

Chobani is currently seeking an Assistant Cafe Manager for its Philadelphia Fishtown location. This full-time role comes with a competitive salary range of $67,500, plus bonus opportunities, equity, and a rich benefits package. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day cafe operations, assisting in staff management, overseeing inventory, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and promoting the Chobani brand values.

The Assistant Cafe Manager will work closely with the Cafe Manager to maintain smooth operations, drive sales, and uphold the company’s high standards for product quality and customer service. This position demands strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for food and wellness. The individual will be responsible for training and motivating cafe staff, managing schedules, handling customer inquiries and issues, and optimizing store performance. This role offers an excellent chance to work with a globally recognized brand that is changing the food industry through innovation, care for community, and commitment to wellbeing.

Chobani supports its employees through extensive wellness programs, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, disability insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts, tuition reimbursement, and strong retirement plans with a 401k match. The company also offers fertility and childcare assistance and generous parental leave. Wellness resources such as fitness discounts, wellness reimbursements, and an employee assistance program ensure staff members are supported both professionally and personally.

Working at Chobani means joining a diverse, inclusive workplace where equality is paramount, and all employees are valued irrespective of race, gender, age, or any protected status. The company is committed to fostering an environment where everyone can thrive, reflecting the same care and quality it puts into its products.
