The role of Baker’s Assistant is based at a world-class Dexterra camp facility where culinary services are delivered at the highest standards. The Baker’s Assistant supports the bakery operation by helping with the preparation and baking of fresh goods. This is a hands-on production role that emphasizes quality control and sanitation to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality baked goods that support daily meal service. Reporting to the Baker, the Assistant plays a critical role in maintaining Dexterra’s reputation for delivering fresh, well-presented products that meet client expectations. Responsibilities include assisting with baking from scratch, adhering to approved recipes and dietary guidelines, restocking pastry shelves, and ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of baked products.
