Currently, Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker to join their team. This role is designed for an individual with a passion for food quality, exceptional customer service, and a dedication to community values. The Assistant Bread Baker will have the opportunity to be actively involved in producing the bakery’s distinctive breads, working alongside a team devoted to excellence. This position requires hands-on involvement in all aspects of the baking process, from following precise recipes to working with large quantities of dough and ingredients.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of kitchen skills, paying close attention to detail in order to create unique and high-quality breads. Physical stamina is critical, as the role involves lifting heavy supplies, standing for extended periods, and mixing dough. Flexibility and adaptability in a changing work environment are vital, particularly since baking shifts can extend from late mornings to evenings, with additional shifts during weekends and holiday seasons, including potential overnight hours.

While previous large-scale baking or pastry experience is preferred, Kneaders is willing to train the right candidate who shows enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards at the local, state, and federal level is mandatory. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this role.
