Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associates degree with 0 to 2 years related experience
Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and blueprints
Manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools with precision
Basic math and measurement skills
Attention to detail
Willingness to work in environments with explosive materials
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance if required
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 32 pounds

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Read, interpret, and execute soldering instructions as outlined in the Description of Manufacture (DOM), blueprints, and other technical documents
Perform precise hand soldering of electronic components and subassemblies using appropriate tools and equipment, ensuring proper technique and adherence to established methods and sequences
Inspect solder joints and connections for quality, identifying and correcting defects before, during, and after the soldering process
Verify that all soldered assemblies meet quality standards, technical specifications, and DOM requirements
Accurately complete required documentation and quality records related to soldering operations
Participate in daily GEMBA meetings to discuss production issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment, especially within the soldering team
Maintain a clean and safe soldering work area, following all company safety and security protocols
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to ITAR/EAR and export control regulations
Work safely and responsibly with or around explosive materials and components during soldering, following all relevant safety protocols
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
