Job Requirements

  • Must have or be willing to obtain Food Protection Certificate
  • Previous experience in baking bread or laminated dough preferred
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift over 50 lbs
  • Must be punctual and reliable with consistent attendance
  • Strong focus on cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and production systems
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Age requirement of 18 years or older

Job Qualifications

  • Food Protection Certificate (required

  • Hands-on experience with bread and/or laminated dough production preferred
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in repetitive tasks
  • Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting 50+ lbs
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to maintain consistent attendance
  • Able to take feedback and maintain performance under pressure
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays is required
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Maintain a professional and respectful attitude with all team members at all times
  • Execute all stages of production, including scaling, mixing, laminating, shaping, proofing, and baking
  • Follow recipes, production schedules, and systems precisely to ensure consistency across all products
  • Work efficiently to meet daily production targets without compromising quality
  • Monitor product quality at every stage and communicate any issues immediately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with NYC health regulations
  • Support overall kitchen operations, including cleaning, organizing, and restocking as needed
  • Follow direction from the Head Baker and leadership team
