Arriba Abajo is a vibrant cantina-themed bar and restaurant located within the prestigious Thompson and Tommie Austin hotels, two of the premier lifestyle hotels situated in the heart of Downtown Austin. This exciting new concept is set to open in early spring and will offer an expansive 17,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor dining and lounge spaces. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a host or greeter role preferred
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- strong organizational skills
- reliable and punctual
- capacity to stand for extended periods
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- commitment to providing exceptional guest service
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- provide menu recommendations and answer guest inquiries
- coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth guest flow
- handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly
- maintain appearance and organization of the host station
- assist with phone and online bookings
