Securitas is a globally recognized leader in security services, dedicated to protecting homes, workplaces, and communities by offering tailored security solutions designed to safeguard assets, ensure safety, and help businesses maintain profitability. As a reputable security services company, Securitas prides itself on its commitment to integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness, values that form the foundation of its operations and employee conduct. These principles not only foster trust between clients and employees but also promote a secure and supportive work environment. Securitas employs a diverse workforce, bringing together a wide range of skills and perspectives united by a common goal: to provide comprehensive security services that meet the unique needs of every client. The company emphasizes inclusivity and equal opportunity, ensuring all qualified applicants receive consideration regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
The role of Supervisor within Securitas is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel assigned to various client site posts. This position ensures that established post orders and rounds are strictly adhered to, that required documentation and reports are accurately completed and submitted, and that emergency situations are promptly addressed by notifying the appropriate authorities and clients. The Supervisor acts as both a leader and a mentor, coaching and disciplining staff when necessary, providing training, and maintaining a productive and motivated team focused on delivering high-quality security services. The Supervisor also plays an essential role in workforce management by coordinating coverage of posts, preparing payroll submissions, and handling administrative tasks required by company management. Additionally, the Supervisor maintains frequent communication with client representatives to guarantee that all security expectations are met while fostering strong customer relationships.
Working conditions for this role require maintaining professional composure in potentially urgent or stressful situations, including dealing with challenging individuals, managing sensitive information, and sometimes working in inclement weather or environments requiring personal protective equipment. Physical demands include frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting. Candidates must be comfortable handling multiple tasks simultaneously and possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. The role may require overtime and involves routine interaction with authorities, executives, clients, and the public.
Securitas offers a rewarding work atmosphere supported by competitive benefits, a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Joining the Securitas team means becoming part of an organization united by values that cultivate trust, vigilance, and helpfulness in providing essential security services. If you have a dedication to integrity, the ability to motivate and direct others effectively, and a passion for client service, this Supervisor role presents a dynamic opportunity for a motivated security professional to advance their career in a respected global company.
