Job Description

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is a distinguished hospitality management company renowned for operating a collection of premier hotels across various markets. With a commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction, Crestline Hotels & Resorts provides memorable experiences while driving industry-leading performance. Known for its dedication to fostering inclusive, dynamic work environments, Crestline prioritizes professional growth and innovation in the hospitality sector. The company currently manages several prominent properties including the Hampton Inn Westford-Chelmsford, Residence Inn Boston Westford, and Residence Inn Boston Marlborough, which are sought-after destinations for both business and leisure travelers due to their strategic locations, exceptional service, and modern amenities. These hotels serve as vital hubs within their communities and the broader New England area, catering to a diverse clientele ranging from corporate travelers to extended-stay guests.

We are currently seeking a relationship-driven and proactive Area Sales Manager to join our sales team and help elevate the profile of our hotels in the competitive market. This role is more than just selling rooms; it involves building lasting partnerships, uncovering new business opportunities, and playing a strategic role in positioning our hotels as premier destinations. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for soliciting, selling, and contracting rooms for the assigned market areas, coordinating closely with transient demand patterns, and managing existing group business to maximize room revenue and overall profitability. Ideal candidates will be proactive sales professionals with a solid track record of winning business and maintaining customer relationships. The role requires a dynamic individual who can creatively promote hotel spaces, expertly negotiate contracts, and utilize sales and property management software to ensure smooth operations and accurate forecasting.

The Area Sales Manager will create and implement strategic sales plans, attend industry events and trade shows, conduct site inspections, and handle client communications to drive hotel revenue growth. The position involves a combination of telephone prospecting, in-person sales calls, and community engagement to both retain current clients and attract new accounts. The ability to analyze local market trends and competition will be crucial for success, ensuring that each hotel maximizes its profit margins while offering competitive packages to clients. Additionally, the role requires administrative excellence, including preparing sales proposals, managing catering and event details, finalizing banquet event orders, and ensuring proper room blocking and payment processing. Flexibility in working hours, including some weekends and occasional overnight travel, is expected to meet business needs. Working as a professional representative of Crestline Hotels & Resorts, the Area Sales Manager will also collaborate with the Director of Sales on annual business plans and contribute to broader team goals, supporting peers as necessary to ensure department success.

This position offers an exciting career opportunity to thrive within a respected hospitality company that values diversity and equal opportunity employment. Candidates who bring passion, dedication, and a client-focused mindset will find a rewarding workplace where their efforts directly impact the success and growth of multiple respected hotel brands within the Crestline portfolio.
