MCCS (Marine Corps Community Services) is a dynamic organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support and services to Marines, Sailors, and their families. Situated within the vibrant military community, MCCS offers a wide array of amenities designed to enhance the quality of life for service members and their loved ones. This includes access to recreational facilities, child development centers, gyms, movie theaters, bowling centers, pools, golf courses, auto skills centers, and outdoor recreation activities. The Services Division at MCCS manages the Cabins & Cottages located on Onslow Beach, a picturesque area offering robust recreational programming alongside numerous lodging options such as cabins, cottages, RV parks, and campgrounds. The Division also oversees beachfront operations including open water activities, equipment rentals, public pavilions, and conference facilities. This critical role requires a dedicated and experienced professional to oversee and manage the financial operating budget and daily operations, maintenance, and cleanliness across the Onslow Beach area. The position includes supervising key staff members such as the Assistant General Manager and Maintenance Supervisor while being the secondary supervisor for their teams.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in resort or hotel management with proven leadership skills and the ability to enhance guest services, increase occupancy rates, and maintain profitability through innovative policies and promotions. The role demands a hands-on approach with physical requirements including the ability to lift and carry objects up to 45 pounds independently. As a mission-essential position, the incumbent must be prepared to respond to emergencies and severe weather conditions as needed to support continuous mission-critical operations. This position offers the chance to take on a leadership role in a reputable military community service organization, ensuring that facilities and services exceed customer expectations while fostering a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for all guests and staff members. Job Requirements
- Minimum four years customer service experience managing a resort hotel operation one year at supervisory level
- Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation certification preferred
- Successful completion of four year course in Resort Hotel Management Recreation Management or related field leading to bachelor’s degree preferred or combination of related experience and education
- Experience with Property Management System (PMS)
- Experience with financial management principles and budget process
- Knowledge of Nonappropriated Funds (NAF) policies and procedures preferred
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Oversee and manage financial operating budget and day-to-day operations maintenance and cleanliness for Onslow Beach area
- Supervise Assistant General Manager Maintenance Supervisor and act as second level supervisor for their teams
- Ensure services and facilities meet or exceed expectations for cleanliness and entertainment
- Develop and direct new policies or innovative promotions to increase occupancy rate deliver quality guest services and maintain or increase profitability
- Establish administer and maintain systems for safe and secure operations at Onslow Beach facilities including development of standard operating procedures
- Manage activities and facilities including recreational lodging units RV park campgrounds beachfront operations equipment rental public beachfront pavilions and meeting spaces
- Perform other related duties as assigned
