The role of Area Executive Chef at Sodexo is a pivotal leadership position, responsible for overseeing culinary operations across multiple campuses in South and North Dakota. With approximately 70 percent travel, the Area Executive Chef will work closely with district and area teams, contributing to menu development, sales presentations, and operational efficiency. The Area Executive Chef will be a key figure in upholding Sodexo Culinary Standards, ensuring strict adherence to recipe compliance and food quality. Additionally, the role involves developing innovative menus that cater to diverse dietary needs, including special diets and allergen considerations. Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3 years management experience
  • minimum 3 years functional culinary experience
  • ability to travel approximately 70 percent
  • strong culinary background and presence
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • experience in high volume culinary operations
