As an Aquatics Concierge reporting to the Aquatics Director, your primary mission is to create a memorable and enjoyable experience for members and guests using the aquatic recreational facilities. This role serves as the welcoming face and professional liaison, responsible for maintaining a clean, inviting environment and delivering exceptional customer service standards. The Aquatics Concierge plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations at the aquatics center by handling appointments, class schedules, and point-of-sale transactions with accuracy and professionalism. The Aquatics Concierge is expected to embody these core values by engaging in honest and empathetic interactions, anticipating members’ needs, and collaboratively working with the team to troubleshoot and enhance service delivery. Regular attendance at department meetings and adherence to club and aquatics policies are essential facets of the job, helping to uphold the standard of excellence that members expect.
Working in a dynamic environment, the Aquatics Concierge will navigate various communication channels, including phone, email, text, and in-person engagements, to facilitate seamless member and guest experiences. Responsibilities also include managing administrative tasks such as data collection and generating reports to support operational insights. The position demands physical readiness to perform light lifting and maintain an alert presence in the facility while interacting with members and staff. Availability primarily over weekends during the summer season is required to meet member needs at peak times.
