As an Apartment Maintenance Technician working with InterSolutions, you will be an essential part of multiple apartment communities, supporting the day-to-day maintenance tasks that keep these residential properties running efficiently and attractively. The Maintenance Technician role involves a hands-on approach to property upkeep, requiring a versatile skill set that covers electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry repairs. You will directly contribute to community satisfaction by efficiently completing service tickets and work orders, preparing vacant units for new residents, and maintaining clean and safe grounds and common areas. You will work under the guidance of a maintenance supervisor or property manager, receiving clear directives and support to ensure high standards of maintenance performance.

Apartment Maintenance Technicians at InterSolutions perform a variety of technical duties including repairing electrical circuits, servicing household appliances like stoves and refrigerators, fixing toilets and sinks, handling minor carpentry including doors and window screens, and managing painting and drywall repairs. Additionally, you will be responsible for removing bulk trash such as discarded appliances and clearing drains and sewer lines to help maintain a hygienic and orderly environment across the properties.

The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, and possesses a foundational knowledge of maintenance repair across multiple trades. While prior apartment maintenance experience is preferred, InterSolutions values a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Operating safely, especially when lifting up to 40 pounds and using ladders, is critical in this role. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with residents and team members, delivering excellent customer service while addressing maintenance concerns promptly and thoroughly.
