Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, Snowbird is a premier resort nestled in the heart of the Wasatch Mountain Range. Snowbird is currently seeking a full-time, year-round AM Public Areas Attendant to join the housekeeping team at the Cliff Lodge. This hourly position operates on an 8 AM to 4 PM schedule, with weekends and holidays required. The AM Public Areas Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the resort's public spaces, ensuring guests have a pleasant and welcoming environment throughout their stay. Reporting to the Housekeeping Director, the attendant will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining lobbies, hallways, recreational areas such as the pool, steam room, sauna, and exercise room, as well as assisting with guest requests and occasional guest room cleaning.
The role requires dedication to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, including dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, buffing floors, and scrubbing bathroom fixtures. In addition to these tasks, the attendant will handle duties such as emptying trash bins, cleaning up spills, and managing lost or misplaced items. The position also involves delivering items such as rollaway beds, cribs, and dishes to guest rooms upon request, enhancing the overall guest experience. On occasion, the attendant will assist in the laundry room and participate in deep cleaning projects to uphold the resort's quality standards.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Zero to six months of job-specific work experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Demonstrate basic competency in reading, writing, speaking, simple arithmetic and interpersonal relations
- Must be reliable and mature
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated to stay busy during slow times
- Exercise judgment within policy guidelines without supervisory approval
- Ability to solve problems and initiate activities within job description
- Strong understanding of Snowbird operations
- Pleasant interpersonal skills to maintain good working relationships
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain all public areas including lobbies, halls, pool, steam room, saunas, and exercise room
- Dust furniture, vacuum, and buff floors
- Scrub toilets, showers, sinks, and clean mirrors
- Empty trash, pick up spills, and clean litter
- Deliver rollaway beds, dishes, cribs, and other guest-required items
- Assist in laundry room and other tasks assigned by supervisors
- Perform cleaning of guestrooms as needed
- Engage in deep cleaning projects to maintain hotel cleanliness
