The Utility Dishwasher is responsible for handling designated restaurant and kitchenware including washing pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils, which requires both physical endurance and a commitment to quality. The role involves the meticulous operation of dishwashing machines and the cleaning and maintenance of dishwashing stations, kitchen compactors, and storage areas. The Dishwasher assists with various assigned projects that contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen operations. Given the nature of the hospitality industry, the dishwasher will work within a variety of temperature conditions, noise levels, and settings ranging from indoor to outdoor environments. This necessitates a high level of physical stamina, as the role requires standing and exerting well-paced mobility for lengthy periods, carrying weights up to 20 pounds regularly, and occasionally pushing and pulling carts and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
