Job Description

HVMG (Hospitality Ventures Management Group) is a leading hotel management company known for its commitment to excellence and fostering a positive workplace culture. The company prides itself on its Be Excellent culture, which emphasizes genuine care for employees and guests alike. This culture is reflected in their supportive management style and dedication to helping team members grow their careers within the hospitality industry. HVMG manages a wide portfolio of hotels across the United States, offering exceptional experiences to guests and rewarding career paths to associates. They believe in equal opportunity employment and provide a welcoming environment where employees are encouraged to develop professionally and personally.

As a Cook within HVMG, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality meals that delight hotel guests. This position involves preparing fresh, delicious dishes in alignment with standardized recipes and presentation guidelines. You will work closely with the culinary team, reporting to the Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager, to ensure a smooth kitchen operation that meets food safety and quality standards. The role requires a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Scheduling options include shifts from 5AM to 2PM or 6AM to 3PM, with flexibility needed for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Cook role offers significant opportunities for career advancement across the hospitality industry. Starting as a cook can lead to promotion to positions such as line cook, sous chef, or even executive chef over time, providing a rewarding career trajectory. HVMG supports its associates with comprehensive benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, flexible scheduling, access to earned wages before payday through PayActive, and full healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision. The company also offers a 401(k) plan with a guaranteed 4% match and no vesting period, along with exclusive hotel and food and beverage discounts.

Applicants eligible to work in the United States with a combination of education and experience, preferably with hotel or hospitality background, are encouraged to apply. The role demands physical stamina to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift when needed, combined with a warm and professional demeanor consistent with HVMG's Culture of Excellence. Adherence to safety and sanitation standards is expected to maintain a clean and organized kitchen. If you are motivated by a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a passion for creating memorable dining experiences, this Cook position with HVMG offers a rewarding opportunity to grow your culinary career while contributing to a respected hospitality brand.
