The school is committed to forming the whole boy, ensuring that each student’s journey to manhood is supported in a holistic manner - mentally, spiritually, physically, and emotionally. McCallie's robust traditions and community-focused culture create a unique and enduring brotherhood among students and alumni alike, fostering lifelong connections that resonate through generations.
The Alumni & Family Experience Manager at McCallie plays a pivotal role in perpetuating this vibrant community by designing and executing meaningful engagement strategies. This full-time position, exempt under the FLSA and eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, demands a dynamic individual who thrives on creativity, strategic planning, and meticulous execution. The incumbent is tasked with curating impactful events, experiences, and programs that enhance relationships among alumni, current and past parents, grandparents, faculty, students, and friends of the school.
Furthering the school’s vision, the Alumni & Family Experience Manager strategically advances engagement initiatives that intricately weave the fabric of McCallie's vibrant culture and enduring brotherhood. This role requires a balance of visionary leadership and hands-on management, including overseeing logistical details, managing budgets and timelines, coordinating with volunteers and vendors, and ensuring exceptional execution of each event and program. By fostering deeper affinity and inspiring philanthropic support, the manager strengthens the McCallie community’s connection to the school, ensuring its legacy continues.
Working closely with the Development Team, this role demands a forward-thinking approach to alumni and family engagement. The Manager continuously applies best practices and data-driven insights to innovate and enhance event portfolios. Beyond managing routine engagement activities, the individual also contributes creative ideas to elevate the entire McCallie experience, ensuring it remains relevant, memorable, and meaningful for every participant throughout their lifelong relationship with the school.

The position both honors McCallie's historic mission centered on Honor, Truth, and Duty, and responds proactively to modern needs in alumni relations and community engagement.
