Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of management experience
  • ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends
  • experience with safety and sanitation standards
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • strong coaching and employee development skills
  • passion for food and innovation

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of sous chef or kitchen manager level experience in an upscale or recognized culinary concept
  • strong culinary background with knowledge of current culinary trends
  • experience in safety and sanitation protocols and health department inspections
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • strong coaching and employee development abilities
  • passion for food and innovation

Job Duties

  • manage purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • ensure culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
  • utilize automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
  • oversee high-volume scratch kitchen operations
  • lead and foster a team-oriented kitchen environment
