Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of functional experience in culinary management
  • Strong culinary background
  • Executive level culinary management experience between 5-7 years
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively at all levels
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional communication skills
  • Passion for customer service
  • Previous training experience
  • Proven track record as financial and innovative manager
  • Experience managing $5M plus volume and P&L
  • Ability to coach and lead teams
  • Knowledge of food and catering quality, production, sanitation, and cost controls
  • Ability to communicate and motivate across all organization levels
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of executive-level culinary management experience
  • Strong culinary background
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and exhibit professional communication
  • Previous training experience
  • Experience managing volume of at least $5M with P&L responsibility
  • Knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality and cost controls
  • Coaching and teaching skills
  • Passion for food trends and recipe development
  • Experience in R&D, operations or concept development is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365

Job Duties

  • Drive culinary innovation, excellence and quality standards
  • Coach team to meet hospitality expectations that are friendly and engaging
  • Manage and mentor team toward business goals ensuring training and development
  • Ensure all products and ingredients comply with sector purchase standards and sustainability commitments
  • Collaborate with culinary team to maintain recipe and menu database including scaling for volume
  • Partner with Food Safety and Workplace Safety managers for training and development
  • Visit accounts to support and track performance and follow-up
  • Communicate with partners honestly and timely
  • Train and reinforce management behaviors and monitor procurement compliance
  • Provide technical and management support within culinary program
  • Utilize industry techniques to recommend innovation and upgrades
