We are currently seeking an experienced General Manager to lead operations at one of our prestigious airport lounges located at LaGuardia International Airport (LGA) in New York, NY. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a vibrant and dynamic environment focused on delivering relaxing and rejuvenating spaces for travelers. As a General Manager, you will oversee day-to-day food operations, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and compliance while motivating a dedicated team to achieve operational excellence. This leadership position demands a professional with comprehensive knowledge of financial management, inventory control, team development, and client relationships in upscale hospitality settings.

You will play a pivotal role in managing Profit and Loss, supporting the achievement of company and client financial objectives, and cultivating productive partnerships with stakeholders. Job Requirements

bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5 years management experience
2-3 years experience in proven food and beverage management role within hotels, restaurants or upscale dining venues
strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
ability to direct and lead large teams
ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate professional communication skills
flexibility to take on additional responsibilities
working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems and menu graphics programs
experience in financial preparation and oversight

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product
achieve company and client financial targets and goals
develop and maintain client and customer relationships
motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff
ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs
fully versed in Profit and Loss, inventory and fiscal responsibilities of operating a stand alone business
