The Executive Chef role at Sodexo's Airline Lounge Segment is a prestigious position responsible for managing the culinary operations at the Polish Airlines Lounge located at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, IL. This hands-on position requires a seasoned culinary professional with an extensive background in high-volume catering, upscale food production, and event execution. The ideal candidate should possess eclectic menu knowledge and experience maintaining a scratch kitchen environment, preferably within hotels or fine dining restaurants. The Executive Chef will oversee purchasing, menu compliance, inventory control, cost analysis, and food production forecasting, ensuring the highest standards of culinary quality and innovation are met in a fast-paced, upscale setting.
The Executive Chef will be accountable for maintaining Sodexo's culinary standards, including strict recipe compliance and food quality assurance. In addition, this role involves leading and motivating a diverse talent team to embrace culinary innovations, fostering professional growth and excellence. A crucial part of the role also involves ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards to guarantee a safe and healthful environment for both employees and guests. The Executive Chef will utilize automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems to streamline operations efficiently.

Job Requirements
- associate's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 2 years management experience
- minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
- strong culinary background with ability to stay current with new culinary trends
- excellent leadership and communication skills
- strong coaching and employee development skills
- strong computer skills including word, excel and office
Job Qualifications
- associate's degree or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of executive chef or kitchen manager leadership experience in a recognized concept or company

Job Duties
