Job Description

This particular role is an on-site, full-time Agent position located in Hillsboro, Oregon, within the Protective Security category. The Agent will be responsible for a variety of security-related tasks including providing concierge-level security services, residential and event security, response services, driving duties, and investigative work. The role requires a flexible work schedule covering weekends and some weekday shifts, specifically Saturdays through Sundays from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and Mondays through Tuesdays from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Pinkerton Agents are expected to uphold the company’s core values and deliver exceptional security and customer service to clients.
The primary responsibilities of the Agent involve ensuring the safety and security of client locations and events, deescalating potentially tense situations, and documenting incidents thoroughly and accurately. Agents will also conduct investigations, respond to emergencies including high-risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disasters, civil unrest, and threat monitoring. The job includes operational duties such as transporting clients, securing residential perimeters, monitoring CCTV systems, managing access controls, and responding to alarms. Agents are expected to proactively identify and report equipment malfunctions or deficiencies.
This role demands a high level of professionalism, physical and mental capacity, and the ability to make quick, effective decisions during emergencies. Candidates must possess an active DPSST Armed Private Security Professional License and an Oregon FQC Carry License to qualify, along with relevant law enforcement, military, or security experience. The work environment may expose agents to stressful situations where they must handle challenging individuals and navigate physically demanding conditions including frequent walking, standing, and occasional lifting. Job Duties

- write detailed incident reports following any incident, occurrence, or variance that warrants documentation
- conduct quality investigations and complete investigative reports
- provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disaster, civil unrest, and threat monitoring
- transport the client to and from company location and/or events
- secure the clients residential perimeter and review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms, as needed
- identify and escalate equipment deficiencies/failures
