The role of Security Agent at Pinkerton is critical to maintaining high standards of protection for clients through a variety of assignment types, including concierge-level security, residential security, event security, response services, basic driving tasks, and investigations. This role requires vigilance and professionalism in performing duties on a demanding schedule, specifically Friday and Saturday nights from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. The selected candidate will embody Pinkerton's core values while providing an exceptional level of security services at client locations and events. The Security Agent will be responsible for handling sensitive situations with composure and effectiveness, including the de-escalation of tense interactions and ensuring a secure environment.
The position also involves rigorous reporting duties, which include writing detailed incident and investigative reports following any significant events or variances. Agents are expected to conduct thorough investigations and complete reports that support the company’s commitment to high-quality service delivery. Moreover, agents will provide essential response services connected to emergency and crisis scenarios such as high-risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disasters, civil unrest, and threat monitoring.
Additionally, the job includes responsibilities such as transporting clients safely to and from various locations and events, securing residential perimeters, managing CCTV and access control systems, and promptly addressing alarms or incidents. Agents are tasked with identifying and escalating any equipment deficiencies or failures to maintain optimal security infrastructure. The role demands a combination of physical, mental, and technical skills to carry out all essential functions effectively.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- law enforcement, military, or security experience
- armed NY security license
- concealed carry weapon (CCW) permit
- able to work Friday and Saturday 11:00 pm to 7:00 am shift
- physical and mental capacity to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

- write detailed incident reports following any incident, occurrence, or variance that warrants documentation
- conduct quality investigations and complete investigative reports
- provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disaster, civil unrest, and threat monitoring
- transport the client to and from company location and or events
- secure the client's residential perimeter and review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms, as needed
- identify and escalate equipment deficiencies or failures
- all other duties, as assigned
