The role at Pinkerton as an Agent is vital to the company’s mission of protecting clients through comprehensive security management. This position involves a variety of assignments such as concierge-level security, residential and event security, response services, basic driving duties, and investigative activities essential to maintaining safety and mitigating risks. The Agent operates primarily on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery. In this role, the Agent represents Pinkerton’s core values by providing clients with attentive, professional security services in various settings, including company locations and events.
As part of the responsibilities, the Agent will be expected to skillfully deescalate tense situations, provide detailed and accurate incident reporting, conduct thorough investigations, and support emergency and crisis management plans. The job requires involvement in high-risk scenarios such as workforce disruptions, natural disasters, and civil unrest, demanding vigilance and rapid response capabilities. Additionally, the role includes tasks such as client transportation services, residential perimeter security, management of CCTV and access control systems, and alarm response. The Agent must also identify and escalate equipment issues promptly to ensure operational integrity.
This position calls for a unique blend of strong interpersonal skills, investigative ability, and physical stamina. Job Duties

- conduct quality investigations and complete investigative reports
- provide response services related to emergency and crisis planning, high risk terminations, workforce disruptions, natural disaster, civil unrest, and threat monitoring
- transport the client to and from company location and/or events
- secure the client’s residential perimeter and review CCTV, manage access controls, and respond to alarms, as needed
- identify and escalate equipment deficiencies/failures
