The company’s mission is to safeguard clients through tailored enterprise risk management solutions that address their unique security needs. As a global organization, Pinkerton’s impact is far-reaching, leveraging decades of expertise to protect high-profile corporations, government agencies, and private individuals alike.

Operating primarily within the security services and risk management sector, Pinkerton is dedicated to providing comprehensive protection solutions that cover everything from event security and residential protection to crisis response and investigative services. This commitment is supported by a workforce of highly trained professionals who are considered the company’s most valuable asset. Pinkerton’s inclusive employment philosophy values diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, enhancing its ability to innovate and deliver world-class security services.

The Security Agent role at Pinkerton is multifaceted and essential to fulfilling the company’s protective mission. The position involves delivering concierge-level security services tailored to client requirements in a variety of environments, including corporate locations, private residences, and public or private events. Agents act as the frontline representatives of Pinkerton’s core values, maintaining high standards of professionalism and vigilance.

Agents also participate in preventing and responding to emergencies, high-risk terminations, natural disasters, civil unrest, and workforce disruptions, thereby contributing to the overall safety and resilience of client operations. Additionally, responsibilities extend to operating security technology such as CCTV systems and access controls, managing alarm systems, and performing basic transportation duties to ensure client safety during travel to and from designated locations.

This role demands not only physical capability and mental alertness but also strong interpersonal skills, as agents must interact effectively with clients and diverse groups while maintaining utmost discretion and professionalism. The work environment can be demanding, requiring agents to adapt swiftly during emergency situations, engage in prolonged periods of standing or walking, and occasionally lift small objects or operate office equipment.

Pinkerton provides a competitive and comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and financial security of its employees. This includes employer-paid life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, voluntary supplemental insurance options, medical coverage with health savings and flexible spending accounts, dental and vision care, disability insurance plans, retirement savings options through a 401(k), and generous paid time off policies encompassing vacation, personal days, sick leave, and holidays. Beyond tangible benefits, Pinkerton is committed to fostering an equal opportunity work environment free from discrimination, upholding a culture that respects all individuals regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or any other legally protected status.

Joining Pinkerton means becoming part of a storied tradition of security excellence, with opportunities to develop professionally within a company that values integrity, teamwork, and dedication to client protection.
