The role of Director of Safety & Risk at Aqua Gulf Supply Chain is a senior leadership position responsible for the comprehensive development, implementation, and management of safety and risk programs across the company’s transportation fleet and logistics operations. Through detailed analysis of accidents and trends, the Director will develop targeted prevention strategies and leverage advanced technologies like telematics, GPS tracking, dash cams, and electronic logging devices (ELDs) to monitor and improve driver behavior and overall safety performance.

Furthermore, the Director of Safety & Risk is tasked with managing the company’s risk exposure by overseeing corporate insurance programs, including auto liability, general liability, property, and workers’ compensation insurance. They will lead claims management efforts in partnership with insurers, legal counsel, and third-party administrators, ensuring efficient handling and resolution of incidents.
