The manufacturer in West Houston is seeking a professional and organized Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator to join their dynamic workplace. This full-time role is based Monday through Friday and offers a competitive pay rate of $21.00 per hour. Situated in a respected manufacturing environment, the role carries a high level of visibility and responsibility, placing the successful candidate as the first point of contact and a key representative of the organization.

The Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator is a pivotal role that ensures smooth daily front desk operations. Responsibilities include warmly greeting visitors, managing check-in procedures, and maintaining confidentiality while routing phone calls to appropriate staff members. This role requires exceptional organizational skills as the coordinator manages visitor logs, issues badges, and handles compliance with visitor management protocols.

Beyond visitor management, this position is integral in supporting company operations through coordinating meetings, classes, and company-wide events. The incumbent is also responsible for arranging travel and lodging, handling office and facility supply orders, issuing personal protective equipment (PPE) for facility tours, coordinating vendor services, and providing general administrative and clerical support as needed.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. The ability to communicate effectively with both internal staff and external contacts is essential, as is the capacity to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Experience handling confidential information with professionalism is paramount to this role.

Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in a related field, prior experience in a manufacturing or high-volume environment, and familiarity with visitor management systems. The role may occasionally require travel of less than 5 percent.

Job Duties
