The role of Administrative Assistant/Receptionist at Easter Seals Greater Houston is an essential frontline position within the organization, based at their main office located at 4888 Loop Central Drive, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77081. This in-person role demands a professional and organized individual who will manage front desk operations and provide exceptional administrative support. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, vendors, and staff, the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist plays a pivotal role in shaping the overall experience of those who interact with the organization. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a friendly, welcoming demeanor. Responsibilities include answering and routing incoming calls professionally, greeting and assisting visitors, providing general information about Easter Seals' programs and services, and connecting individuals to the appropriate program staff. Maintaining a clean and organized reception and office area, managing office supplies and vendor relations, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and supporting employee coordination activities such as distributing badges and business cards are all part of the daily operations. Moreover, the person in this role assists with various administrative tasks including report preparation, mail-outs, organizing meetings, and supporting special projects or events.
