Job Requirements
- One year certificate from college or technical school
- Three to six months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to perform typing and data entry tasks efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills to handle visitor interactions and telephone calls
- Capability to coordinate meetings and prepare required documentation
- Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, internet, and email
Job Qualifications
- One year certificate from college or technical school
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Experience in administrative support or clerical roles is preferred
- Knowledge of hospital policies and compliance guidelines is a plus
Job Duties
- Maintains utmost level of confidentiality at all times
- Adheres to hospital policies and procedures
- Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines
- Performs a variety of typing assignments and gathers data for preparing reports
- Assists in collecting material needed for appointments, meetings, conferences, and telephone calls
- Answers and screens incoming telephone calls and routes them to appropriate individuals
- Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail
- Greets visitors, ascertains nature of business, and escorts visitors to the appropriate person
- Prepares and sends out requests for accounts payable checks, office supplies, or other budgetary requirements
- Coordinates notifications of committee meetings and assists with meeting preparation
- Assists in the coordination and participation of special events and implementation of services provided through grants or programs
- Utilizes computer skills for Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Internet, and email applications
