Job Description

Brightview Senior Living is a prominent organization dedicated to providing exceptional senior care and enriching the lives of older adults. Known as a leader in the senior living industry, Brightview focuses on creating vibrant, supportive communities where seniors can thrive physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Brightview Senior Living operates senior living communities that emphasize compassionate care, quality programming, and a commitment to enhancing every resident's quality of life. Their approach combines innovation with genuine care, making them a trusted name for families seeking a warm, engaging environment for their loved ones.

At Brightview Senior Living, the role of Vibrant Living Assistant is essential to furthering the company’s mission of fostering vibrant, active lifestyles for residents. Unlike traditional titles such as Activities Assistant, Brightview distinctly recognizes the importance of this position by giving it the special title of Vibrant Living Assistant. This role focuses on planning, coordinating, and implementing a diverse range of programming that touches upon spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional well-being. The assistant’s work ensures that residents are not just cared for but are actively engaged in meaningful activities that bring joy, stimulate creativity, and promote wellness.

The Vibrant Living Assistant is responsible for connecting with residents to understand their interests and preferences, which helps in tailoring activities that enrich their daily lives. These activities range from games, painting, and singing to music events, allowing residents to participate in ways that suit their abilities and passions. Promoting upcoming events through social media, newsletters, and email communications also forms a crucial part of the role, ensuring residents and their families stay informed and excited about the community’s offerings.

Additionally, this position occasionally involves transportation duties for those aged 21 and over with a valid driver's license, using the company vehicle to shuttle residents to and from events safely. The assistant also handles logistical aspects like setting up and breaking down activities, requiring hands-on involvement and an energetic, positive attitude.

With a competitive hourly salary ranging from $18.00 to $20.75, compensation is influenced by experience, qualifications, certifications, training, and community size. Brightview Senior Living offers ongoing salary reviews and adjustments to reflect employee value and industry standards. This is a full-time role ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in seniors' lives, enjoy engaging with the elderly, and are creative, enthusiastic, and energetic. Joining Brightview means becoming part of a dedicated team that embraces community, diversity, and professional development, with a strong focus on meaningful work that enriches lives every day.
