Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- Minimum of two years of hotel accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and internal controls
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial analysis
- Familiarity with hospitality operations and hotel systems such as PMS and POS
- Effective communication and leadership capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems efficiently
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of two years of hotel accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, internal controls, and hospitality operations
- Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence operational teams
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Comfort with hotel systems (PMS, POS) and intermediate Excel and reporting software skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities
Job Duties
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash control functions for multiple hotels
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, USALI, and all applicable White Lodging policies and standards
- Provide financial insight and counsel to hotel department heads, supporting data-driven decisions
- Assist in developing and reviewing annual budgets and forecasts while identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency
- Generate accurate, timely financial reports and share key insights with hotel leadership
- Maintain a strong control environment to safeguard assets and mitigate business risks
- Lead and mentor accounting team members, supporting their professional development
- Monitor audit findings, implement corrective actions, and ensure system data accuracy
- Stay current on tax compliance, licensing, permits, and vendor agreements
