Job Description

As a third shift concierge at RLC, you play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the community throughout the night. This overnight position requires alertness, dedication, and a proactive mindset to maintain cleanliness, safety, and support residents during the quieter hours. The third shift concierge is responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness within the community by performing daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing high-touch areas. Additionally, this role monitors building safety systems, responds quickly and calmly to emergencies, and supports administrative duties like taking service requests and coordinating transportation. The concierge creates memorable, warm first impressions by greeting residents and visitors with professionalism and kindness, reinforcing a welcoming and secure environment.

Working Thursday through Monday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, the third shift concierge must be dependable, attentive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm presence during emergencies. With a focus on team collaboration, flexibility, and a proactive approach, the concierge helps RLC achieve its key goals of happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. Compliance with local requirements such as food handling permits and alcohol service standards is essential. Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years old with valid driver's license and clean driving record able to valet park vehicles safely
  • able to work Thursday through Monday 11:00pm to 7:30am staying present and alert for entire shift
  • must meet local alcohol service requirements and obtain food handler permits within two weeks of hire

Job Duties

  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the community including vacuuming sweeping mopping sanitizing high-touch surfaces and restocking supplies
  • respond calmly and quickly to emergencies monitor resident call systems and coordinate with emergency responders
  • support community safety by monitoring building systems including fire alarms following emergency protocols and guiding residents during fires or severe weather
  • assist with administrative support by taking room-service requests selling meal tickets distributing menus scheduling transportation and maintaining records
  • support community operations by walking the community noticing and reporting concerns assisting with event setup and providing responsible alcohol service
  • create memorable first impressions greeting residents families and guests answering calls professionally and offering valet services
  • welcome new residents by introducing yourself and offering support
