Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a leading provider of senior living communities known for fostering a warm, caring environment that feels like family. This fast-growing, family-owned company operates over 60 communities nationwide, offering residents a resort-style living experience combined with compassionate care and unwavering commitment to quality. RLC's core values of Respect, Honesty, Kindness and Compassion, and Service Excellence form the foundation of its culture, driving the team to deliver exceptional service and create positive, enriching experiences for seniors every day.

Joining RLC means becoming part of a tight-knit, servant-hearted community that not only values its residents but also prioritizes the happiness and well-being of its employees. The company is guided by four essential goals that ensure its continued success: maintaining happy employees, providing an outstanding experience for residents, achieving full community occupancy, and operating within budget. These goals reflect RLC's dedication to excellence on all fronts and contribute significantly to job satisfaction and workplace culture.

The 2nd Shift Concierge role at Resort Lifestyle Communities is vital as the welcoming face and primary point of contact for residents, their families, and visitors during the evening hours. The ideal candidate will start their shift by greeting and assisting all community members, answering phone calls promptly, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires a dynamic and hands-on approach, with responsibilities extending beyond front desk duties to include supporting various operational needs throughout the community.

As a 2nd Shift Concierge, you will provide valuable services such as valet parking, ensuring the safety and security of residents by monitoring building systems, responding to emergencies, and assisting with building safety procedures. You will handle administrative tasks like scheduling transportation, managing guest suite reservations, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, you will support community operations by assisting with room service requests, covering dining areas during peak times, setting up for events, and responsibly serving alcohol.

This role demands adaptability and flexibility, as priorities can shift, requiring assistance in different areas of the community. A professional appearance and excellent communication skills are necessary, given the extensive interaction with residents, guests, and vendors. The position also involves maintaining the cleanliness and security of common areas and welcoming new residents while guiding them through orientation to ensure a smooth transition. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) is important for managing clerical duties.

RLC offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees, including a unique $341 benefit stipend each pay period toward health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, various savings accounts (HSA, FSA, LSA), accident and hospital indemnity, and legal and identity theft protection. Paid time off and a 401(k) plan with employer matching further enhance the employee experience.

Working at Resort Lifestyle Communities means being part of a purpose-driven organization where every team member plays a role in enriching the lives of seniors and making a difference every day in a beautiful, supportive resort-like setting. This role is perfect for someone committed to servant leadership, who is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about providing compassionate service to seniors and their families.
