Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a dynamic and rapidly growing company dedicated to providing exceptional senior living experiences in more than 60 communities nationwide. Family-owned and purpose-driven, RLC emphasizes a culture rooted in core values of respect, honesty, kindness and compassion, and service excellence. The company creates vibrant, resort-style environments where residents enjoy an engaged, supportive lifestyle with full occupancy and on-budget operations as key operational goals. The organization prides itself on fostering happy employees and happy residents by cultivating a close-knit, servant-hearted community. This supportive leadership environment encourages employees to grow professionally while making meaningful differences in the lives of senior residents they serve.

The 2nd Shift Concierge role at RLC is pivotal as the welcoming face of the community during afternoon and evening hours. This position requires a dedicated individual who embodies exceptional interpersonal skills and an earnest desire to serve others with kindness and professionalism. As the first point of contact for residents, families, guests, and vendors, the 2nd Shift Concierge is responsible for creating a warm and positive first impression that aligns with RLC's core values. Beyond greeting residents and answering incoming calls, the role involves various hands-on duties, including valet parking, building safety oversight, emergency response, and administrative support. This mixed nature of responsibilities demands individuals who can adapt to fast-paced environments, multitask efficiently, and maintain a high level of attentiveness and detail orientation.

The position requires working Thursday through Monday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, providing crucial coverage during peak resident activity times. Twenty-one years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record are mandatory, especially since valet services involve safely parking resident and visitor vehicles. The ideal candidate maintains a professional appearance and communicates effectively in English to ensure clear interactions with residents, staff, and visitors.

Additional role expectations include monitoring safety systems such as fire alarms, coordinating transportation schedules, assisting with event setups, and supporting dining services during peak periods. The concierge is also tasked with maintaining cleanliness in common areas and securing the building as needed. As an ambassador of the community, the concierge welcomes new residents and supports their orientation to facilitate a smooth transition into their new home.

The 2nd Shift Concierge position presents an outstanding career opportunity within a compassionate company culture committed to servant leadership and resident satisfaction. RLC offers competitive compensation and benefits, including health, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, disability benefits, and financial accounts such as HSAs and FSAs. Paid time off and a 401(k) plan with employer match further enhance the overall employment package. Employees have the advantage of accessing their pay anytime, with a generous stipend applied toward various benefit options.

Joining RLC means embracing an impactful role in a family-like environment where every day offers the chance to make a difference in the lives of seniors. This role is suited for those who value teamwork, flexibility, and community engagement. If you are looking to bring your servant heart to a rewarding career supporting seniors in a beautiful, resort-style setting, Resort Lifestyle Communities welcomes your application. EOE/ADA compliance ensures a diverse and inclusive workforce committed to equal opportunity employment throughout its operations.
