The role of Branch Manager at BakeMark is a critical leadership position responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating all branch functions to achieve or surpass business objectives. Reporting to the General Manager and under limited supervision, the Branch Manager oversees procurement, production, warehousing, distribution, sales, collections, and accounting/reporting/administration. As an aspiring General Manager role, it requires a hands-on approach to managing the organization effectively and aligning branch activities with the company's strategic plan and core values of Partnership, Performance, and Passion. The Branch Manager is tasked with developing strategic plans, optimizing use of facilities, equipment, and employees, supporting marketing and sales programs, ensuring proper training for all branch personnel, and maintaining compliance with company policies and safety rules. This role also involves taking ownership of the branch’s product offering and pricing strategies, promoting the BakeMark brand, and continuously improving branch performance through leadership and management excellence. Supervisory responsibilities include direct oversight of staff across multiple departments such as sales, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, purchasing, and administration. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field, with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience and training. They should demonstrate effective leadership capabilities, possess strong organizational skills, and contribute to building a positive workplace culture that encourages growth and succession planning. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • participation in industry associations a plus

Job Duties

  • Manages all branch activities in accordance with policies guidelines and procedures established by executive management
  • manages branch activities to achieve both short and long term goals of the branch and company
  • develops branch strategic plan tactics programs policies and procedures to optimize use of facilities equipment and employees and achieve sales and profit growth
  • reviews market analyses to determine customer needs volume potential price schedules and discount rates developing sales programs to meet or exceed goals
  • determines branch product offering and pricing consistent with company strategies and financial expectations
  • supports the promotion and success of the bakemark brand
  • keeps informed of new training methods techniques of competitors and pending introduction of new company products to determine training needs
  • develops and directs training plans programs and procedures to ensure effective training for branch personnel
  • adheres to company policies procedures and safety rules
  • exemplifies the bakemark core values of partnership performance and passion
  • performs other duties as assigned to reach company goals
