Job Description
Aramark is a leading global provider of food services, facilities management, and uniform services. Serving millions of guests daily across 15 countries, Aramark is committed to delivering exceptional experiences and solutions for clients in numerous sectors including corporate dining, education, healthcare, and sports and entertainment. At its core, Aramark is rooted in service and united by a shared purpose: to do great things for its employees, partners, communities, and the planet. The company prioritizes equal employment opportunities and fosters an inclusive workplace where diversity is respected and valued. Employees are encouraged to grow their talents and pursue their professional passions in a supportive environment that promotes innovation and collaboration.
The Management Accelerator Program (MAP) at Aramark is specifically designed for recent graduates who are ready to fast-track their careers and step into leadership roles. This immersive one-year rotational program blends operational experience with people management, professional development, mentorship, and community building. MAP offers participants the unique opportunity to lead a team from their very first job after graduation. This role provides a fast-paced, people-first environment where participants gain the skills, confidence, and experience necessary to thrive.
As part of MAP, new Food Service Managers will rotate through various elevated corporate dining operations, acquiring hands-on experience managing teams and delivering exceptional food service. The role goes beyond typical food service responsibilities; it includes crafting innovative dining solutions that meet evolving customer tastes and expectations. Based in Beaverton, Oregon, MAP participants will support a corporate client by helping employees realize their full potential and lead healthier, more active lifestyles.
This program is highly flexible in terms of career pathways. Graduates can choose to continue in their current account after completing the program, explore other lines of business within Aramark, relocate to different cities, or transition between operational and functional roles. This personalized approach to career growth ensures that each participant can design their own leadership journey within the company.
The position offers a salary of $60,000 per year, reflecting Aramark's commitment to offering competitive and transparent compensation. Eligible employees benefit from comprehensive programs including medical, dental, vision care, retirement savings plans such as a 401(k), paid time off, parental leave, and disability coverage. Aramark's supportive culture and comprehensive amenities are geared toward empowering employees personally and professionally.
In summary, Aramark's MAP Food Service Manager role is ideal for recent graduates driven to launch meaningful careers in food service management and leadership. It provides robust training, career flexibility, mentorship, and hands-on experience, all within an inclusive, service-driven company that cares deeply about its employees and communities. Aspiring leaders who desire a challenging and rewarding career path in a world-class company will find Aramark’s MAP an excellent starting point to accelerate their growth and impact.
