The journey began when Rypka, a former executive chef, launched a food trailer on South First Street in Austin. He delivered tacos on his red Vespa, and customer feedback inspired the brand's slogan, "Damn Good."

Torchy's menu features a variety of tacos with unique fillings such as Green Chile Pork, Baja Shrimp, and the famous Trailer Park. This can be made "trashy" by adding Green Chile Queso.
