St. Camillus

Overview

St. Camillus is a non-profit Life Plan Community dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors through mission-driven care and exceptional service. Located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, it offers easy access to downtown Milwaukee and nearby amenities.

The campus is minutes from leading hospitals, medical offices, grocery stores, shopping malls, the Milwaukee County Zoo, the Villages of Elm Grove and Wauwatosa, and popular dining destinations.

Comprehensive Care Continuum

St. Camillus provides a full continuum of care including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, Home & Community-Based Services, and Hospice.

Residents can choose from beautifully designed apartment homes within a vibrant environment designed to empower aging with choice. The community commits to continuous research and best practices.

Independent Living

There are two residences for Independent Living: the East Residence and the West Residence.

• The East Residence is a 15-story building with 168 apartment homes.
• The West Residence has 10 stories and 276 apartment homes.

Floor plans vary from studios to spacious two-bedroom plus den apartments. Amenities include two lobbies, two chapels, two patios, a beauty salon, a library, and four dining venues.

Residents also enjoy a game room with a pool table and golf simulator, a movie theater, and a Life Enrichment Studio for art and creative classes.

Outdoor features include shuffleboard, a pickleball court, and a putting green.

Assisted Living and Memory Care

The South Residence offers Assisted Living, Short-term Rehabilitation, and Skilled Nursing services.

The North Residence features specialized Memory Care with private and companion suites, large windows, adapted bathrooms, and emergency call systems.

Common areas include secure outdoor courtyards, family gathering spaces, and multiple activity rooms.

Residents enjoy chef-prepared meals served communally, with menus developed alongside dietitians to address special dietary needs.

A robust calendar of daily activities tailored to cognitive abilities and interests is provided.

Skilled Nursing and Short-term Rehabilitation

Located in the South Residence, Skilled Nursing and Short-term Rehabilitation provide a safe, comfortable, and attentive environment.

The skilled nursing staff includes a medical director, nurse practitioner, registered and licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants, therapists, social workers, dietitians, and chaplains.

Hospice care is also available through a dedicated professional team.

Home & Community-Based Services

St. Camillus offers several services beyond residential care:

These services provide peace of mind, security, and support wherever individuals choose to live.

Revitalize Wellness Program

The holistic Revitalize Wellness Program addresses six wellness dimensions: Physical, Intellectual, Spiritual, Social, Emotional, and Community.

The goal is helping individuals maintain a healthy, active lifestyle and enhance their quality of life. Residents have access to exercise and educational classes along with social engagement and personal growth opportunities.

Spirituality

St. Camillus welcomes all faiths. The community holds daily Mass and weekly Ecumenical services in any of its three chapels.

The Pastoral Care team is available 24/7 to support residents and families with their spiritual needs.

Culinary Services

Dining is a communal experience with varied venues:

• The Pub offers appetizers, soups, sandwiches, burgers, and a full bar.
• Tramontin's Bistro has daily specials plus à la carte dinner options with dine-in and to-go service.
• Mansfelds Restaurant hosts themed dining events such as Italian Night, Friday Fish Fry, Around the World Cuisine Night, and a bi-monthly Sunday Brunch.
• Bluemound Market provides groceries, personal items, hot breakfasts, lunch specials, desserts, and dinner menus on certain days.
